We are looking for a Junior Java Software Developer for a project in the telecommunications area.

The aim of this product is that you will have to work on a tool that measures and monitors the utilization of test spaces in the customer's laboratories located around the world, and these data support decision-makers in relation to high-value purchases.

The team

You will join our consultant team who works remotely, but we meet at the Sigma office once a week, and it is also possible to join the client-side project members once a week on an optional basis. The team is large but performs a variety of tasks, from development to system support.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • B.Sc./M.Sc. or ongoing education in information technology, computer science, or a similar field
  • 0,5-2 years of experience in Java (client or server) development and related technologies
  • Understand the basics and operation of relational database management systems (MySQL)
  • Flexibility, willingness to learn new technologies
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills
  • Good Linux/Unix skills
  • Good written and oral skills in English

PREFERRED ADDITIONAL SKILLS, PERSONAL TRAITS, EXPERIENCE

  • Familiar with CI/CD and web application security
  • Working experience with JavaScript and/or TypeScript
  • Experience with Docker
