What you will learn and contribute to

We are looking for a passionate Software Developer to design, develop build and implement high-quality, innovative, and fully performing software solutions that complies with coding and technical design standards.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for transforming user and system requirements into system functionality by writing code in various programming languages. The candidate should be familiar with the software development life cycle (SDLC) from preliminary system analysis to tests and deployment. The Solutions Engineer will be responsible for the integration of headless software applications into a frontend in a multi-server architecture. You will work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where quality, creativity, and accountability are expected.

As part of our team, you will:

  • Execute full lifecycle software development using agile and DevOps practices
  • Design and program a scalable, testable solution with efficient code using software engineering principles. 
  • Be responsible for data designing, acquiring, maintenance and security, test case designing, and documentation.
  • Integrate software components into a fully functional software system and troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems
     

KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Education Recommendations


Currently a candidate for a bachelor’s or master's degree in a technical field such as computer or software engineering or related fields from an accredited school. 

 

 

What is Nokia looking for from me

You are:

  • Comfortable working with frontend and backend projects
  • Comfortable working with APIs and API integrations
  • Able to work with large groups or one-on-one with the software engineers and application developers to build exciting new products, API integrations, and public-facing solutions that drive the adoption of our platforms.
  • Comfortable coding skills in multiple languages and has an interest in learning more with extensive work experience in multiple programming languages, software technologies, software products, enterprise software, applications development, operating systems, automation systems, and the like. 

 

It would be nice if you also have:

  • Experience working with developer platforms.
  • Experience with Cloud platforms AWS, GCP, or Azure as well as agile and DevOps tools such as Jira, Git, Jenkins,
  • Experience with 
  • Git, Jenkins
  • Cypress, BDD
  • Kubernetes, Helm
  • JS, TypeScript
  • RDB, Prisma ORM, Postgres
  • Kong (or other API gateway tools)
